Hedge End allotment sheds attacked again

August 19, 2010
By

Shed doors were ripped off and smashed overnight at the allotment gardens at Kanes Hill in Upper Northern Road.

Police are appealing for information after 28 allotments in Hedge End were damaged  on Thursday August 19.

PC Andrew Laverick said: “I would like to hear from anyone who has information about this incident. The allotments have become a very important part of the local community and those who occupy these allotments work extremely hard.

“I would also like to appeal for the allotment owners to contact the police so that we can record all of the damage caused and to remind them not to leave valuables in their sheds overnight.”

Sheds at the allotments had been previously attacked in March.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PC Andrew Laverick at Hedge End police station on 101. Alternatively you can call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
