Teams wanted for local five-a-side leagues

September 12, 2017
By

Southampton Fives is a locally run five-a-side company, run by two local individuals who are dedicated to a well managed, organised friendly league and strive to ensure all teams who turn up always have a game. Now they are looking for more teams to join their leagues allowing more games to be played in a season. To date they have a 100% success rate working with teams ensuring good communication between both which builds excellent relationships and trust.

Buying into ‘Local’ people for ‘Local’ business really pays dividends over larger companies who fail constantly to keep their finger on the pulse to teams needs and requirements.

If teams are short on players some weeks, having great relationship ensures they can always find a spare player with their extensive contact list and an understanding from all players sometimes ‘they’ may need help so are willing to step in if required. Pete Williamson from Southampton Fives said:

‘We aren’t greedy, being the cheapest league to play in locally at only £5 per player, no sign on fee, Hampshire FA affiliated, great parking with bar on site for after game drinks and giggles!

‘Building on local reputation within 9 Months we are now on our fourth league on a Monday night and looking to expand very soon to a Wednesday at the same venue of Trojans.

‘Again if teams wish to play both nights we offer a thank you discount to them.’

‘We are looking for dedicated and reliable teams only to make our leagues strong and enhance what we are building on locally.

‘In return we offer league trophies, top goalscorer trophies and we always video parts of games for caption contests and inter team banter!’
