Bandstand summer gigs back

June 7, 2018
By

Southampton band Inferior Complex will bring a Post Punk vibe to Eastleigh Bandstand on Saturday, June 9 from 12noon to 2pm.

Building on the success of last year’s popular programme, Bandstand Busking In Eastleigh returns for a summer of top music entertainment. Throughout the summer local buskers, bands, choirs and singers will take to Eastleigh’s bandstand every Saturday and Sunday to bring music to the people of Eastleigh.

Supported by Eastleigh Borough Council and programmed by The Point theatre-based SoCo Music Project each week different artists and performers will bring their own unique sounds and music genres to entertain. From soul, brass band music and folk to rock, show tunes and pop there will be something for all musical tastes.

So pull up a deck chair or put down a picnic blanket and sit back and enjoy the sounds of bandstand busking.

Performances will take place on Eastleigh Bandstand in Leigh Road Recreation Ground every Saturday and Sunday from 12noon to 2pm and 2pm to 4pm slots from June until September.
