Hedge End Sheds damaged

Safer Neighbourhoods officers in Hedge End are appealing for witnesses or information after several sheds were damaged at the allotments in Upper Northam Drive, Hedge End.

Vandals entered the site sometime overnight on Saturday evening, March 20 and Sunday morning, March 21, and caused damage to at least ten sheds in the latest of a series of similar incidents at the site. Some sheds were pushed over

Officers are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may know who is responsible.

Information should be given by phoning Hedge End police station on 101 or anonymously on the Crimestoppers charity line 0800 555 111.

They would also like to hear from owners of the damaged sheds to establish the full extent of the damage. Allotment holders will also be offered crime prevention advice and free shed security alarms to help reduce further incidents occurring.

This is awful.. Who in the hell would attack the poor allotment people and destroy all their hard work and pride in what they do..

Hold on a min, could this be the same group who vandalised the South Street Allotments? I have heard them bragging that they are about to do the same at Woodside Allotments..

    What was that number again.??
