One Stop Hit Twice

Police are appealing for witnesses after a shop in Bursledon, Eastleigh, was targeted by thieves twice in the same week.

The One Stop store in Portsmouth Road was broken into overnight on Monday July 12 and then again in the early hours of Thursday July 15.

Cigarettes and alcohol were stolen from the store during the burglaries.

PC Loraine Stockham-Hunt said: “This shop has been targeted twice within a week. I would ask members of the public to be vigilant in the area and to report any suspicious activity to the police.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who is offered cigarettes or alcohol for sale in the local area.”

Anyone who witnesses these incidents, or who has any information, is asked to contact PC Loraine Stockham-Hunt at Hedge End police station on 101.

Alternatively you can call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.

How come this shop has been robbed twice in a week and all the Police can do is ask local people to be on the lookout and grass up anyone who offers you cheap vodka and 20 superking’s.
