Thieves nick £39k car

A black E350 like the one stolen

Thieves managed to drive away in their booty following a burglary in Eastleigh on Sunday June 27 during which a £39,000 Mercedes was stolen.

The incident occurred between 2am and 8.30am at an address in Guildford Drive an affluent area of Chandlers Ford. Entry was gained to the house via the front door where the car keys were then found left on a nearby table.

The car, a black Mercedes E350, was then stolen from the driveway.

PC Natalie Burridge said:

“I would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of this incident.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to remind vehicle owners not to leave their keys where they can easily be seen as this makes life easy for burglars.”
