North Baddesley woman goes missing

Police are continuing an urgent appeal for information this morning, with the release of a photograph of Christine Watson, a woman who has been missing from the North Baddesley area for almost 24 hours.

The woman was last seen at around 10.30am yesterday as she left home in an agitated state, and did not take her handbag or mobile phone with her.

Christine is described as:

  • White
  • 69 years old, but looks younger
  • Short dyed red hair
  • 5ft tall
  • Medium build
  • Thought to be wearing trousers and wellies (the short ankle boot version)

Inspector Justin Norris said, “We have been carrying out numerous enquiries and as yet have not been able to locate Christine Watson. We are getting very concerned for her welfare and are appealing for people’s help in trying to find her. The photograph we have was taken just over a year ago and may help people recognise her.

“Did you see her yesterday or overnight? Do you know where she is? If you can help us find her please contact the police immediately. We need to make contact as soon as possible to ensure she is safe and well.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police on 999 or 101.

No further statements from the Police. Hopefully she is alive and well. Anyone with any information, or anyone who may have heard something, really ought to get in touch with the Police.
