Stars of TV’s ‘X Factor’, accapella band ‘The Reason’; will be performing in Eastleigh’s Swan Centre this Saturday lunchtime between 12 – 1 pm. The popular Southampton boy band have agreed to appear for the launch of a charity calendar, the proceeds of which will be donated to Sophies Appeal – a charity founded by the parents of Sophie Barringer who died aged six from kidney cancer.
The charity has so far raised over a £¼ million to support sick children and their families and help fund into childhood illness.
The calendars’ theme is a ‘A revealing experience of Motherhood’ and there will also be a photographic exhibition (a first for the swan centre) to tie in with the launch. Also present will be Sarah Beattie wife of former Saints star James Beattie and The Mayor of Eastleigh.
The exhibition and lauch will take place in the Swan Centres Hexagon (the bit upstairs over TKMaxx where there aren’t any shops). Refreshments will be provided by the Loft and Break Bar, Sainsbury’s and Cake Shop Corner.
Copies of the Calendar will be available for purchase from ‘Paperchain’ in Eastleigh.
