A draw was enough for Eastleigh to edge up to eighth in the table after being denied the full three points in dying minutes of their away game to Hampton and Richmond on Tuesday night.
Eastleigh had dominated the home side from the start but the Beavers took the lead, against the run of play, with a 32nd minute header from David Stevens
After the break Eastleigh got two quick fire goals in 3 minutes from Richard Graham and Ross Bottomly however the Spitfires attempts to slow the pace of the game and kill it off resulted in two bookings.
Eastleigh came close to bagging a third goal in the closing minutes but it was Hampton substitute Lawrence Yaku who salvaged a point for the beavers with virtually the last kick of the game to draw the match 2-2 four minutes into injury time.
Eastleigh face Staines Town at home next Saturday, kick off 3pm.
