A 62-year-old woman has been subected to racist abuse while walking her dog in Hedge End Police have disclosed.
The OAP was with her husband in the fields behind St Lawrence Close and Mallet Close at around 10.30am last Wedensday – November 24th – when a man directed a racially abusive comment towards her.
Police wish to speak to the man involved. He is described as white and aged between 55 to 60. He is thick set and between 5ft 10 to 5ft 11 inches tall.
He was wearing Kakhi trousers and a black anorak.
The man had a large brown Alsatian dog which had a black face, with him.
On the day of the incident the man was seen leaving the field in the direction of either Malvern Gardens or St Lawrence Close.
The man was then seen again in the same field at about 10am on Sunday, November 28. He was wearing a light green jacket, blue denim jeans and a greyish colour woolly hat. On this occasion he was standing with another man who was wearing a fluorescent jacket.

“This unpleasant incident left the victim feeling very distressed and we would like to speak to the man involved or anyone who has any information that could help us with our enquiries.”
