Poppy Tin Theft – Man Charged

An Eastleigh man has been charged in connection with the heartless theft of a charity collection tin.

A Royal British Legion poppy collection tin was stolen from the Co- Op store on Fair Oak Road, Eastleigh on Saturday, November 13.

It is not known how much money was in the tin.

The man , aged 30, of Stranding Street on th ePirelli estate was charged with theft on Friday, November 26.

He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Friday, December 10.
