Eastleigh played the replay Monday January 17 with the match finishing 1-4 to the Spitfires.
Eastleigh went into half time 1-0 down due to a Danny Glover goal for Worcester City.
Shaun McAuley had the only chance for Eastleigh in the first half who saw his shot saved by Dave Parton. Tony Taggart equalised in the 64th minute and the Spitfire never looked back.
Peter Adeniyi his name on the score sheet from a close a range effort that only just crossed the line.
Taggart scored again on the 91st minute from an Eastleigh counter attack.
In the last kick of the game Striker Richard Gillespie scored for the first time since the October 23 away to Woking which saw the start of a nine game unbeaten run from the Spitfires.
Eastleigh was rewarded with £6,000 for their win at St George’s Lane and a place in the last 16 of the FA Trophy.
The Spitfires are now only four games away from Wembley and the fans think this could be their year especially with a fourth straight home tie against Chasetown FC.
Chasetown are 11th in the Evo-Stik Nothern Premier League, one league below the Spitfires but Ian Baird’s Side know it will be a tough tie as they have defeated five teams on the trot to get where they are. Two of the recent victories were against Blue Square Bet Premier outfits Kettering Town and former League 2 team Grimsby Town.
FA Trophy third round tie scheduled for February 5.
