Garden Centre thieves strike again

Police are investigating a burglary at the Aquajardin garden centre in Allington Lane, Eastleigh.

Offenders struck at the remote site just after 1am on Sunday, February 27.

The offenders forced entry at the rear of the complex before entering the office area and removed a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash.

This is one of number of similar incidents to have occurred in the wider area of Allington Lane in recent weeks.

Last week the nearby Arturi’s Garden Centre in Allington lane was broken into and £125 worth of food was taken.

Police are appealing for witnesses or information about this burglary and are also advising other businesses in the area to be vigilant and to report any suspicious vehicles or people they see in the area.

They are also advising businesses to review their overnight security. Crime prevention advice is available to anyone requiring it which can be obtained by phoning eastleigh police station.
