Andy Forbes returns to Eastleigh!‏

Eastleigh director of football Dave Malone confirmed today on the fans forum that Andy Forbes will be signing again for Eastleigh.

“The club are pleased to announce that we have agreed terms with Andy Forbes, and anticipate that we will conclude the formalities in the next few days.

Andy spent last season at Woking and then Sutton United. We will be delighted to welcome him back to the Silverlake Stadium.”

In 2010 the 32 year old striker left Eastleigh having scored 143 goals in 268 appearances in six years.

Forbes then went on playing for Woking however he was loaned to Sutton United for three months.

Sutton United signed Forbes but at the end of the 2010/2011 Forbes was released by them.

Before Eastleigh, Forbes previously played for Reading, Winchester City and Andover where he still holds the record for scoring the most goals in one season for the club with 83 goals in the 1999/2000 season.

Eastleigh fan favourite Forbes also had a place in the Wessex League team of the first 25.
