Eastleigh confirmed today that they will face The Falkland Islands this Friday after a postponement of Wednesday’s International Friendly.
A press release was published on the official website today.
“The match between Eastleigh Football Club and the Falkland Islands will now take place on Friday 24th June at 3pm.
The Falkland Island team has been unable to leave the island, due to an ash cloud from a volcano in Chile, but air restrictions have now been lifted, allowing the re-arranged fixture to take place.”
Meanwhile Paul Williams, the former Saints payer who was appointed as Eastleigh’s Assistant Manager at the start of the month has now left the club after being offered a youth manager place at Aldershot Town.
