Can Eastleigh top Darts?

Ian Baird’s Spitfires travel to Dartford at Princes Park On Saturday in search of a bounce back from Saturday’s 0-2 defeat at The Silverlake stadium against Bromley.

The Darts have got off to a flyer this season and already have twice of Eastleigh’s points who currently lie in 16th place with seven.

However Dartford suffered their first defeat away to Basingstoke last Saturday 3-2 with former Spitfire Shaun McAuley scoring the winner.

The last time these two teams met was at Princes Park where it was a disappointing 0-0 however The Spitfires did win against The Darts at home at the Silverlake Stadium 3-0 with Richard Graham, Richard Gillespie and Anthony Riviere all netting for Eastleigh on that occasion.

Jamie Brown and on loan reading left back Frankie Raymond is out with a suspension and another four first team players are ruled out with injuries.

The Spitfires defence will have to be organised to defend the likes of Charlie Sheringham (son of former England star Teddy Sheringham) who is The Darts top scorer this season with seven goals (four of which were penalties) and former Eastleigh winger Richard Graham.

Lets roar on The Spitfires to a bounce back in the league,
