Drugs Bust in Chandlers Ford

A drugs warrant was executed at Fryern close in Chandlers Ford at on Friday (30 September).

A 34-year-old man and 29-year-old woman both from Eastleigh were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis. Both were taken to Southampton Central Police Station for questioning and later bailed pending enquiries.

The warrant was executed by officers from Eastleigh Police’s, Safer Neighbourhoods team (SNT) led by Pc Caroline Bracey.

A number of items were seized from inside the address including plants believed to be cannabis. The exact amount and value has yet to be confirmed due to ongoing analysis and further enquiries.

Sergeant Chris Spellerberg of Eastleigh Safer Neighbourhoods team said

“This warrant was part of our ongoing campaign to disrupt and detect supplies of illegal drugs within Eastleigh. These operations take place thanks to a combined effort between the public and the police and we are committed to work that demonstrates drugs will not be tolerated within our district.”
