Stephen Gough the Eastleigh man also known as the Naked Rambler has been jailed for 5 months for a ‘breach of the peace’.

The former Chamberlayne Road resident refuses to wear clothes and has spent the last six years in and out of jail in Scotland– the majority of the time in solitary confinement.

He was arrested in July following a complaint from a member of the public  as he attempted to make his way home to Eastleigh unclothed shortly after his release from prison.

His latest jail sentence  comes after he refused to submit to a Mental Health Assessment.

A spokesman for the Crown claimed the Eastleigh man had “ Intentionally caused shock and alarm to children and their parents” by walking past a kiddies playground while wearing just a hat and hiking boots.

Mr Gough was sentenced at Kirkcaldy Crown Court today while appearing in the dock completely naked.

There you have it. Refuse to conform and you must be mentally ill. It’s getting more like the Soviet Union every day.

Well done Steve Gough and SHAME on you Scotland! What hypocrisy! Scotland has some beautiful scenery but one hell of a problem with sexual hypocrisy. Or maybe the Scottish judges are not naked underneath their splendid robes. Yeah! That must be it, a kind of Emperor’s Clothes scenario. Steve Gough is a pioneer. What he’s doing is commonplace in some parts of Europe, where people walk naked in the shops without any problem.

We stayed in a hotel in one of Switzerland’s German speaking cantons recently.
When I took my girls down to the pool for a swim there was only one open plan changing room!
The kids had to get undressed in front some German-speaking middle aged couples, not only that but we had to walk past further naked Swiss stretched out on sun loungers.
I should have phoned Kirkcaldy police and got the lot banged up for being naked near children.

There’s always the EU Arrest Warrant. It’s never too late to get someone extradited. You don’t need any prima fascie evidence or any charges. Just an accusation or innuendo will do. If Julian Assange is being extradited to Sweden on mere allegations of sexual wrongdoing, then I think you stand a pretty good chance of getting those naked Swiss brought over to Scotland for trial.
