The next HomeBuy Show, will be held at the Ageas Bowl tomorrow (Thursday 4 October). The free event will offer potential first time buyers and those wanting to discover affordable alternatives to private renting, the opportunity to discuss their aspirations with industry experts.
The show will be open from 3pm until 7pm, when visitors can receive free advice from financial and legal advisors, have a financial assessment and attend feature presentations explaining how the government-backed financial schemes work.
Over 800 people attended the previous two shows in Hampshire, where visitors are continuously surprised that buying their first home is actually easier, and more affordable than they thought. There are currently a wide range of homes available in Hampshire through these schemes, varying from 1 bed apartments to 4 bed family townhouses.
One visitor from Fleet commented that the show was:
“Really informative and well laid out all under one roof. I found out additional options to buy affordably, which I had never heard of before. Very friendly. Good idea to have financial advisors available. It was all very helpful.”
Whilst the media continue to focus on people who are locked out of the property market and forced into an under-regulated and over-priced rental sector; www.HomesinHants.co.uk has over 500 affordable homes currently available on its website, with many schemes needing a deposit of less than £3,000.
The show on Thursday 4 October will be held from 3 – 7pm at the Ageas Bowl (previously The Rose Bowl), Hampshire’s County Cricket Ground, Botley Road, West End, Southampton SO30 3XH.
