Richard Hill’s Spitfires will look to continue their fine form away to 18th place Tonbridge Angels at the Longmead Stadium tonight (7.45pm kick off).

After Saturday’s game away to Truro was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, Hill’s men will be eager to play some football.

The Angels last played away to top of the league Welling United which was a day to forget for Tommy Warrilow’s men as they slumped to a 4-1 loss.

Anthony Acheampong opened the scoring for Welling after 40 minutes and Ross Lafayette doubled The Wing’s lead just before the break.

Tonbridge Angels top goal scorer Frannie Collin gave the visitors a lifeline just after the break however Lee Clarke and Anthony Acheampong made sure of the victory for Welling.

The last time these two teams played at The Longmead Stadium was early last season and ended up with The Spitfires with only nine men left on the pitch.

Frannie Collin scored a brace and there were goals from Jake Beecroft and Lee Browning which left Eastleigh on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline.

Eastleigh’s striker Craig McAllister has recovered from his injury and will be in the squad for tonight’s game.

Tonight’s game is going to be great game so come on down to The Longmead Stadium and roar on those Spitfires!

COME ON YOU SPITFIRES!!!
