Richard Hill’s Spitfires will look to win their fifth game in a row as they take on mid table outfit Bath City away at Twerton Park tomorrow.

Eastleigh travelled to relegated Truro City on Tuesday where they earned themselves a spot in the play-off positions with a superb 1-3 victory away from home.

Jai Reason fired Eastleigh in front with a unstoppable strike from 30 yards out after just nine minutes which gave The Spitfires a 0-1 advantage at half time.

Midway through the second half, substitute Craig McAllister took it round the oncoming Truro keeper and finished it into an empty, much to the delight of the travelling Eastleigh fans.

Ten minutes from time and attacking midfielder Reason gave The Spitfires a three goal advantage with a long range chip which would  of made any striker proud.

The game just had enough time for Stewart Yetton to get on the score sheet for Truro however it was too little, too late for the hosts and The Spitfires claimed three crucial points.

Tomorrow’s opponents Bath City are on unbeaten run of six games however they can neither get relegated or promoted this season.

The Roman’s last played away to Eastleigh’s promotion rivals Chelmsford City and they won 0-1 with Charlie Griffin scoring the game’s only goal.

It was back in October when these two teams met, Damian Scannell opened the scoring after just twelve minutes and Craig McAllister doubled Eastleigh’s lead moments later.

Chris Allen then got one back for The Roman’s however Jai Reason soon restored The Spitfires two goal lead and the game ended 3-1 to Eastleigh on that occasion.

Tomorrow’s game is going to be a great game so come on down Twerton Park and roar on those Spitfires to five straight wins!
