Police ask locals to name their priorities

Residents in Eastleigh have a chance to meet up with local their local police community teams to discuss an concerns or issues and help decide on what they should concentrate their resources

The meeting, part of an initiative called ‘Partners and Communities Together” (PACT) will also have councillors and council community safety representatives on hand ready to listen to local’s concerns.

Sgt Chris Spellerberg of Eastleigh Safer Neighbourhood’s Team is hoping locals will come along and let the team know how they can best help residents:

“I am seeking to encourage residents to discuss community priorities. PACT is a public engagement a process which I want to be sustainable, resourced, accountable and transparent.”

The meeting starts at 7.30pm Wednesday 24 April in the small conference room at Barton Peveril College, Chestnut Avenue.

    Just wish i could get there, no babysitter tonight. But something def needs doing about all the ASB in eastleigh lately, eg bandstand, muriel.
