Daylight Robbery in Eastleigh

Blue Police LampPolice in Eastleigh are appealing for witnesses after a pizza delivery driver was robbed.

A 28-year-old woman was sent to deliver a pizza to a home in Desborough Road at around 12.45am on Saturday, July 13. When she arrived the residents said it wasn’t for them. She left the property and was then approached by a man who produced a knife and demanded the pizzas and her handbag and bumbag, which contained a small amount of cash.

The robber then ran off down an alleyway between Desborough Road and the High Street.

He is described as aged around 20 of slim build and wearing dark clothing including a dark hat. He also had a moustache and had stubble around his face. He had dark coloured eyes and dark hair.

The victim was left shocked by what had happened. Incidents like this are unusual in Eastleigh.

      We’ve published all we were given on this Pete, but now that you mention it I notice that the Police have given us no clues as to the villains ethnicity whatsoever…
