Eastleigh Vs Salisbury

Richard Hill’s Spitfires take on Calor Southern League Division One South and West outfit North Leigh away at Eynsham Hall Park Sports Ground  tomorrow in their last friendly before the Skrill South campaign

Eastleigh played Skrill Premier side Salisbury City last weekend at The Silverlake Stadium where they were narrowly beaten by The Whites.

It took just thirteen minutes before the game saw its first goal when striker Ben Wright blocked keeper Jack Dovey’s clearance and the resulting block found it’s way into an empty net.

The game was level just before the break when Yemi Odubade sprinted down the right wing to send in a dangerous cross in the path of Jai Reason who done superbly to flick the ball past keeper Will Puddy.

Just under the hour mark and the visitors took the lead once again; Robbie Sinclair finished off a fine Salisbury move which eventually won the game for The Whites.

Tomorrow’s opponents North Leigh are unbeaten in pre-season having won all five of their friendlies home and away.

Entry for tomorrow’s game is FREE as it is a family club day so come down to Eynsham Hall Park Sports Ground and roar on those Spitfires!
