Richard Hill’s Spitfires take on seventh place Hayes & Yeading at The Silverlake Stadium (3pm kick off) today where they would like to continue their fine form at the top of the of league.

Eastleigh last played on Tuesday where they overcame Eastbourne Borough at home despite missing a penalty in the second half.

After a even goalless first half;  Hill’s men came out in to the second half all guns firing and it was Jai Reason who broke deadlock ten minutes past the break.

Second half substitute Craig McAllister put in a pinpoint cross for the former Braintree Town midfielder who made no mistake with a cool finish.

With little more than ten minutes to go, The Spitfires secured all three points when Reason done well to put in a dangerous ball which found captain Glen Southam who doubled Eastleigh’s advantage.

Today’s visitors are managed by former Republic of Ireland international Phil Babb and his side are in good form having won their last three games.

United got of to a flying start when they played Havant & Waterlooville last Saturday.

Jack Mills and Kelvin Bossman both gave Hayes & Yeading a healthy advantage after 15 minutes however Havant did manage to get on back in the later stages but it was too late.

Today’s game is free admission so be sure to get down to The Silverlake Stadium and roar on those mighty Spitfires to five wins a row!
