Tracey, who was awarded an MBE in the 2013 Queen’s New Year’s Honours list for her outstanding services to education said:
“I really enjoyed the investiture at Windsor Castle. It was wonderful to talk to Princess Anne, who was very interested in Eastleigh College and its work at College House”.
Highly appreciative of the honour and occasion, Tony added:
“I was so pleased that both Tracey and I received our awards on the same day.”
“The Princess Royal noted that two recipients came from the same college and asked how special Eastleigh College was to achieve double recognition in the Honours List.”
“We both thank all the staff who work so hard at the College to deliver a quality provision and succeed so well in meeting individual learner needs”.
