Two Eastleigh men were left with facial injuries that needed treatment at Southampton General Hospital following an assault in Hamble.
At about 1.30am Sunday, October 13, four women and three men were walking home from a Hamble pub. They were with a group of three to four men.
When they reached Westfield Close and its junction with South Court, a fight erupted. Two men from the first group, a 24-year-old from Horton Heath and a 26-year-old from Eastleigh, suffered facial injuries.
Both men were taken to hospital by ambulances. The older man was treated for a dislocated nose, a cut lip and facial swelling. The younger man had cuts, bruises and facial swelling.
Police later arrested three Hamble men, aged 19, 21 and 23. All three were bailed, pending further enquiries, until December 20.
Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the fight. Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Simon Yearsley at Southampton Central’s Custody Investigation Team on 101.
