Police probe West End ‘altercation’

Police are appealing for witnesses after an altercation at a petrol station in West End.
Offiers are investigating the incident at West End Service Station between three men near to the jetwash around 12.30 to 1.10pm on Sunday, April 6.

Customers at the service station alerted staff to what was going on at the time as they were concerned.

Police would like to speak to these customers as witnesses. In particular they wish to speak to a man aged about 45 with a receeding hair line who was wearing a muti-coloured top with horizontal stripes. The man had a young boy with him aged around 5 who was wearing a black t-shirt and had short fair hair. He was there at around 12.30pm. It’s known he was one of the people who brought the matter to the attention of staff and they’d like to speak with him as he’s a vital witness.
