Efit released of Chandler’s Ford robbery suspect

Police have released an efit image of one the men suspected of robbing a 31 year old man of £280 as reported earlier this month.

The robbery took place some time between 9am and 10am on Friday, August 8 while the 31-year-old victim was walking along the alleyway between Bournemouth Road and Templars Way, close to ASDA Chandlers Ford.

Once in the alleyway he was pushed to the floor by two men, who snatched his bag and took £280 from his wallet.

The victim sustained a minor injury to his wrist. His bag was found nearby.

The first man is described as:
– Aged in his early 20s
– ‘Gangly’, quite skinny build
– 6ft 1ins
– Dark eyes with thin eyebrows
– Very thin and pale face
– Wearing a black hoody which appeared too big for him

The second man is described as:
– Aged in his early 20s
– Slim build
– 5ft 5ins
– Wearing a maroon coloured hoody with the hood up

PC Olly Maidment, said:

“The victim has been left understandably shaken by what has happened to him, however, has managed to help us produce an efit of one of the suspects involved. Do you recognise this man?

“The incident took place during a busy time of day and I would urge anyone who was passing the location at the relevant time who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to make contact with us.”
