Chris Todd’s Eastleigh will look to bounce back after last weekends 1-0 home to defeat to Grimsby Town.

The Lincolnshire side ended the Spitfires’ six match unbeaten run¬†courtesy of a Padraig Amond goal just shy of the half hour mark.

Eastleigh did however try and fight hard for an equaliser with Yemi Odubade narrowly missing the target however it wasn’t to be and the Spitfires lost four places in the league table – now sitting in seventh.

Another home game tomorrow (12.30pm kick off) will see Merseyside outfit Southport travel to the Silverlake Stadium with the match being shown live on BT Sport.

Dino Maamria’s men bounced back from a 4-0 defeat on Saturday with a solid 1-0 away victory at Welling United.

In Maamria’s first ever game in charge of the Sandgrounders, Mike Phenix got the only goal of the game with just 15 minutes to go as the on loan Barnsley striker fired home after a counter attack.

Despite this victory Southport still sit in dangerously in the relegation zone having just won three games in their last ten league games.
