A Hampshire family are trying to raise £50,000 for their six-year-old daughter to travel to America for pioneering surgery.

Isabelle Mycroft from Ropley was diagnosed with a form of cerebral palsy when she was fifteen months old.

In an interview with Alice Rose for Winchester News Online, Isabelle’s mother Hazel Mycroft said “it would change her life” if enough money was raised.

Her condition affects her ability to walk, balance and her ability to “be like every other six year old girl” according to Hazel.

A fund raising ‘Love for Life’ ball is being held at Winchester’s Holiday Inn this Saturday in order to raise more money to help with Isabelle’s treatment.

An auction at the event will allow guests to bid on prizes such as concert tickets and holidays.

If there are any readers who can’t attend the ball but would still like to donate, they can do so by going to the Isabelle’s Go Fund Me page.
