The family of a man who died following Thursday’s crash on Allington Lane have paid tribute to him while Police continue to appeal for witnesses.
Christopher Whyton, 32, of Coxford Road, Lordswood died after his Skoda left the road on Thursday and ended up beside the railway tracks.
In a statement released by police the family of Chris Whyton, said:
“Family and friends are devastated at the sudden loss of Chris.
“A cherished and much loved son, brother, uncle and friend. His gentle, caring and loving nature will be sadly missed by all who knew him, along with his thoughtful ways towards others.
“He will always be in our prayers.”
Police say investigations into the exact cause of the collision are ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed this incident or saw the car prior to the collision are being asked to call police on 101, quoting 44160215370, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
