Eastleigh band Torcoda Fray have released a new track titled Lions at the Gate. The song will be part of their new EP Ace which is released on Wednesday 26th April. To coincide with the release, the band are set to be playing their first gig at The Joiners, Southampton, the very same day and will be selling the EP’s at £3 each. You can pre-order a copy of Ace by sending a message on their Facebook page. Torcoda Fray released a teaser of the song earlier this evening on Facebook and already it has had a fair few views! Check out the band’s new song below!

The track starts with some awesome drumming by Ben Smith which sets the scene for some great instrumentals from guitarist Matt Geer and bassist Callum Waldron. It took just under 30 second before Tom Farmer’s vocals kicked in but it was worth the wait and his worry free voice really compliments the song. Farmer showed that he could also put some powerful vocals in with the chorus kicking in around one minute. Overall the song is a great debut for any band and one thing for sure is that Torcoda Fray have a very bright future ahead of themselves.
