The family of a Winchester murder victim have released a photograph of him as Police renew their appeal for witnesses.
The body of Carl Scott, 37 was found at house off Thurmond Crescent on the Stanmore estate on Wednesday (March 22).
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Morgan, who is leading ‘Operation Teasel’, said:
“We have been working our way back from March 22 in a methodical process to establish Mr Scott’s movements prior to his death. We are looking into who he was associating with and where he had been in the days and weeks leading up to this tragic event.
“I am continuing to appeal to anyone who knew Mr Scott and saw him or had contact with him since February 1 this year.
“You may not think you have any significant information but I would still encourage you to get in touch as even the smallest piece of information could be vital to our investigation.”
A 58-year-old man from Winchester has been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
