Staff at south coast-based Hendy are not just sponsoring the Hendy Eastleigh 10k but staff are also taking part in the race.
They will join more than 2,800 runners for the Eastleigh-based event on Sunday March 19, the largest 10k in the south.
Paul Hendy said:
“Everyone within the company has really embraced our support of this event,’’
“It’s great to see so many members of staff don their trainers and reinforce our support of the event.
“We are all really looking forward to the day and the Hendy runners will have plenty of support out there on the route.’’
In addition to staff, Hendy ambassador Alex Danson, who was part of Great Britain’s gold winning hockey team in Rio, will also be taking part in the event which starts and finishes within sight of Hendy’s FordStore in Leigh Road.
The Hendy Ford Eastleigh 10k celebrates its 33rd anniversary this year and attracts runners from across the UK who all descend on Eastleigh to take advantage of the fast, flat course which is ideal for top athletes and fun runners alike.
