A must for all Beer fans – after 20 successful years at Southampton Guildhall, Southampton Beer Festival  2017 is set to return on the 23rd and 24th June with a brand new look at a brand new venue – the home of quality premier league football – Southampton Football Club.

Organisers CAMRA – Campaign for Real Ale say the beer will be better than ever and refect the best of the thriving beer scene in Southampton, Hampshire and nationally.

Not only will there be the range of high quality local and national cask ales, cider and world bottle beers but say CAMRA  the larger and modern venue will provide more seating, air conditioning,  space to move around and dance, more stalls, entertainment and a bigger bar – precisely what customers have asked for at previous festivals.

Day sessions will be held between 11.30-16.00 on the Friday and Saturday afternoons, and the evening sessions 18.30-23.00 on the same days. Friday evening and both sessions on the Saturday will feature live music, while Friday afternoon will be designated the traditional ‘quiet’ session, albeit you will find plenty of quiet space to enjoy a conversation with your friends at all sessions.
