Local wrestling stars get ready to rumble

Jamie Hayter

The superstars of the world of wrestling will be getting ready to rumble when local promoters The Solent Wrestling Federation bring family friendly big time wrestling to The Thornden Hall on Saturday January 13th.

The stunning Chandlers Ford venue plays host to what will be the first wrestling event in the area for some 15 years and features a star studded 2 hour show which includes Tag team and singles action plus a Ladies championship match all before the Main Event which is a 20 man all in American Royal Rumble.
The show includes 2 local stars, current Swf Ladies Champion Jamie Hayter and super heavy weight contender Maddog Quinn.

The controversial Champion Hayter from Bishopstoke heads into her title match currently undefeated in the ladies division but will have to be at her best if she is to overcome one of Britain’s brightest talents London based Bobbi Tyler.

Heavyweight sensation Quinn from Eastleigh is one of the companies meanest rule benders and will certainly have the crowd on his back as he teams up with Iron Hulk Karl Atlas to take on kids Favourite Lookachu and Rhiley Evens in the evenings tag match, all this and more before the climax… a WWE style Royal Rumble- the match where stars enter the ring every 60 seconds until all 20 men have entered then the only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope and both feet landing on the arena floor.. there can only be 1 winner.

Promoter Chris Eden says we are thrilled to bring our family show to the Eastleigh area, I remember when Fleming park was packed out about 15 years ago I can’t wait. The kids absolutely love the shows they cheer the good guys and boo the baddies it’s the next best thing to what they watch on sky sports. They talk about it for ages after.
Other top stars appearing are the 6ft 7in 25 stone Mighty Oak

King of performance Kelly Sixx and Wrestling Legend James Mason.

All the action starts at 730pm with doors opening at 7pm on Sat Jan 13th. Tickets available online or by calling the box office (02380 246555) or on the door.
