Thornden Hall set for charity variety concert

Emma Page is a paediatric nurse at Southampton General Hospital and she has organised a charity variety concert at Thorden Hall on 12th May to raise much needed funds for 3 charities in-directly linked to the children’s ward that she works on.

A raffle and variety showcase of talented local musicians, dancers and vocal artists to fundraise for the children’s hospital services at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital and to provide equipment to change the life of a child with complex disabilities.

Acts include Irish and ballroom dancing, ukelele band, military drums, vocal performances, gymnastics and more!

Tickets are available to purchase online from Thornden Hall’s box office as well as on the night. Tickets cost £10 each.

This is the second show Emma has organised for the charities, the last was very successful with over 200 seats sold (the hall has a capacity of 280 and Emma is hoping to reach full capacity).

The first charity is Magic Wand Appeal that supports general paediatric services.

The next is Hope for Emily Rose which is Emma’s nursing friend’s daughter who diagnosed with Rett Syndrome are looking to raise money for an eye gaze device.

And the last is Newlife which is national charity that provides essential but non medical equipment grants for children with life limiting or complex medical needs
