Lewis Wasterfield’s fantastic 25 yard strike was the only goal Eastleigh could salvage in a 8-1 drumming away to AFC Bournemouth last night in the Hampshire Senior Cup.
Eastleigh’s academy coaches Luke Hardy and Tom Guy over saw the Spitfires from the dugout as they started five youngster who are either still in the academy or have graduated.
Bournemouth didn’t shy away from Premier League talent as Juniour Staislas, Marc Pugh and Tyrone Mings- who have a combined 360 appearances for the first team started.
Marc Pugh, Frank Vincent, Junior Stanislas, Keelan O’Connell and Alex Dobre all helped Bournemouth secure an easy win against Eastleigh.
The Spitfires now take on Daggenham and Redbridge at the SIlverlake Stadium on Saturday at an earlier kick off of 12.35pm in front of the BT Sport cameras.
