On Thursday 15th November Theatre Royal Winchester’s Beauty and the Beast pantomime cast will perform at the historic city’s annual Christmas Lights Switch On.
Taking place 4pm to 7pm, Winchester’s popular festive event welcomes back the cast of Theatre Royal Winchester’s pantomime Beauty and the Beast. Returning cast members Julian Eardley – who plays the Dame – and The Great British Pantomime Awards-nominated actor Ed Thorpe will get the audience going with a short interactive performance on the main stage, situated by the entrance of Winchester Guildhall.
The cast will talk all things panto with Rich Clarke from Heart Radio who is presenting the evening’s events and the theatre will also have a stall, featuring a pop-up Box Office, alongside a whole host of local organisations on The Broadway.
Theatre Royal Winchester’s Beauty and the Beast opens Saturday 1st December and runs until Sunday 6th January 2019. The traditional pantomime features toe-tapping original songs, hilarious jokes and audience interaction aplenty, making it a real festive treat for the whole family.
