Ebbsfleet United did all the damage in the first half of their 3-0 win over Ben Strevens’ Eastleigh at Stonebridge Road yesterday.

Michael Cheek got the hosts off to a dramatic start, sliding a goal in from a Danny Kedwell flick-on after just three minutes.

Kedwell was on the score sheet himself before quarter of an hour had passed, former Spitfire loanee Jack Payne and Myles Weston working the ball to the striker to pounce from close range.

Ben Williamson hit the outside of a post with a good chance as matters continued to go the Fleet’s way. That was emphasised when Jack Payne lofted a ball over the top for Corey Whitely to stride on to and tuck away number three.
