The cast of Theatre Royal Winchester’s pantomime Beauty and the Beast took time out of their busy performance schedule to do a bit of Christmas shopping in The Brooks Shopping Centre, sponsors of this year’s show.
Dame Dotty (Julian Eardley) and Beast (Nathan Turner) took some time to try on the latest fashion whilst Malevolent (Sarah Annakin) and Jacques (Tim Faulkner) were eyeing up the sales in New Look. Belle (aka Eleanor Bennett) and Fairy Fifi (Alice Bonifacio) browsed the shelves of The Entertainer for this year’s must have toy!
After a quick game of Ping Pong in the Ping Pong Parlour, the cast found Bouffon (Kristopher Milnes) in the Energie Fitness Gym working out and admiring himself in the mirror and Wally (Ed Thorpe) trying out a bike in Bespoke Biking before they headed back to the theatre for another performance!
Beauty and the Beast is a traditional family pantomime written and directed by James Barry. This enchanting story-driven show features original songs written by Simon Slater, laugh-out-loud comedy and audience interaction aplenty is great fun for all ages.
The sponsors of this year’s pantomime are The Brooks Shopping.
Beauty and the Beast will be at Theatre Royal Winchester until Sunday 6 January 2019. Tickets are available from the box office 01962 840 440.
