Eastleigh charity awarded £5,000

Eastleigh based charity Invest in ME Research has been awarded £5,000 from Health Games, after receiving an outstanding 97% of votes on a public poll.  

From hundreds of nominations, four charities were chosen and put to a vote, where the local Hampshire charity swept the floor with over 2,000 votes as a popular and deserving mental or physical health charity in the UK.

Invest in ME Research is absolutely delighted to have received a donation of £5000. This donation from Health Games will help us to continue raising awareness of the need for biomedical research into ME.

In the running for the five-thousand-pound donation were Ayrshire Hospice, Poole Hospital Cancer Treatment Trust and The Stuart Low Trust, all contributing towards improving mental and physical health in Great Britain.
