Light UP are on the lookout for talented musical theatre performers, actors and dancers for an exciting summer holiday project in Eastleigh.
Auditions will be held for 13-18 year olds at Barton Peveril College on 24th March. With registration open from now until 14 March 2019.
Light UP is a not for profit organisation that runs value for money drama classes across Hampshire and offers young children the chance to enjoy the fun of performance whilst building confidence and creativity.
Director of Light UP, Rosanna Sloan, said:
‘There are so many talented young people in the area and we can’t wait to work with them over the Summer to produce an incredibly exciting and entertaining performance. We were so happy to be granted the rights to this new adaptation of the hit musical Chicago, for our first large scale summer project. We would like to invite all 13-18 year olds interested in the project to Razzle Dazzle us at our auditions’
The Summer Musical project brings together young people who are interested in acting, singing and dancing to rehearse over a two week period in the Summer Holiday leading to a full-scale performance on Saturday 17 August. Participants are invited to join the team at an audition for roles in Chicago (High School Edition). The audition will comprise a group dance workshop, group singing workshop with solo sections to sing to the panel and a solo monologue to shows Directors.
The audition will take place on Sunday 24 March, from 10 am to 4 pm, at Barton Peveril College, Chestnut Ave, Eastleigh SO50 5ZA, UK.
