Hand knitted chicks laying Easter eggs for charity

Jackie Bramble (who knitted over half the chicks), Alina Conway & Adam Kerswell.

The Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity in West End has received over 50 hand-knitted chicks with chocolates inside. These will be sold to raise funds just in time for Easter.

Care workers at Fisher’s Pond based Caremark Winchester & Eastleigh have been busy knitting since March and were able to hand them over recently.

Calum Gray, Managing Director at Caremark, says that Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity provide amazing help for people with life-limiting illnesses and so they were proud to help and raise funds. He’s sure they will be snapped up and raise lots for the charity.
