Swan Lake heads to Winchester

Ballet enthusiasts will be left captivated by Ballet Theatre UK’s production of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, which heads to Theatre Royal Winchester on Tuesday 30 April.

One of the most enduring classical ballets, Swan Lake is a story filled with romance, sorcery and betrayal about a princess who is held captive as a swan after an evil magician casts a spell on her – a spell that can only be broken if a prince swears his true love to her.

Brought to the stage by one of the UK’s most beloved touring ballet companies – who aim to make ballet accessible to people of all ages and walks of life – Ballet Theatre UK’s spectacular production includes new choreography by the company’s Founder and Artistic Director, Christopher Moore, over 120 new costumes and breathtaking set design.

The production promises to give theatre goers a new look at the timeless classic and leave them with a new love for the story.

After the performance audience members will be able to enjoy a post-show chat.
