Second half substitute Cavanagh Miley scored a late equaliser as high-flying Bromley were held to a 1-1 draw by Ben Strevens’ Spitfires.
Former Spitfire Luke Coulson’s first goal of the season had unbeaten Bromley on course for all three points but Miley struck with five minutes left.
Eastleigh went close to an opener in the 56th minute but Bromley keeper Mark Cousins tipped Danny Hollands’ effort over the crossbar deny his fourth of the season.
And seven minutes later Bromley took the lead. Coulson collected Reeco Hackett-Fairchild’s pass and lofted the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper.
But they were denied all three points when Miley fired high into the net with a sweet volley from inside the area in the 85th minute.

Eastleigh take on Fleet Spurs tomorrow night in the Hampshire Senior Cup as they then return to league action away to AFC Fylde on Saturday.
