Comic legend, Frank Skinner, takes to the stage once more, with a brand-new show called Showbiz, which heads to Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday 30 October.
The all-round funny man and popular household name last toured the UK in 2014 with his critically-acclaimed show, Frank Skinner: Man in a Suit, which included a sold-out return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A veteran performer of the festival, he won comedy’s most prestigious prize, The Perrier Award, at the event – beating fellow nominees, beloved comics, Jack Dee and Eddie Izzard.
Frank Skinner is also recognised for hosting TV panel shows such as BBC One’s Room 101 and Have I Got News for You; while attracting audiences of 11 million viewers with ITV’s The Frank Skinner Show.
His award-winning Absolute Radio show saw him inducted in to the Radio Academy Hall of Fame several years ago. He is a columnist for The Times and has written two autobiographies, while also well-known for topping the music charts with football anthem, Three Lions, with TV co-host, comedian and novelist, David Baddiel, and the band, The Lightning Seeds.
His first play, Nina’s Got News, was staged at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, last year.
Frank Skinner will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday 30 October, at 7.30pm. Find out more, or book tickets, at theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call the Box Office on 01962 840 440.
