Update: Sunday 1 March: The flood information Service say flooding in Lower Itchen icluding Bishopstoke is still possible and have issued the following bulletin:
Water levels in the River Itchen remain high. Today (01/03/2020) will be mainly dry. However, overnight into tomorrow (02/03/2020), 5-15mm of rainfall is forecast. The remainder of tomorrow (02/03/2020) and Tuesday (03/03/2020) are forecast to be fairly dry. Unsettled weather is set to return from the middle of the week. Please remain prepared for further impacts over the next 5 days, as river levels will rise and fall. Generally water levels will be much higher than normal and minor impact flooding will continue. This Flood Alert will be updated by 12:00 on Tuesday 03/03/2020.
