With the news of the discovery of the first UK cases of Coronavirus, Hampshire County Council are advising residents to log on to the gov.uk website for the latest information
In a press release, Councillor Judith Grajewski the Cabinet member for Public Health said:
“With two confirmed cases in the UK, it is important that people know how to access up-to-date and accurate information, as well as the latest advice. The government webpages are being regularly updated, so Hampshire residents should check there first.
Hampshire County Council Continues to monitor coronavirus situation in Wuhan
Cllr Grajewski who is the County Councillor for Chandler’s Ford and also represents Hiltingbury on Eastleigh Borough Council added:
“As a Local Authority, we continue to carefully monitor the situation in Wuhan, China, alongside our colleagues in Public Health England and the NHS to ensure we are well prepared should things change.”
